Yas Marina Circuit The Yas Marina Circuit, located on Yas Island near Abu Dhabi, UAE, is the venue for the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix. Designed by Hermann Tilke, it was the second Formula One track in the Middle East. Opened with a GP2 Asia Series test in 2009, it has also hosted V8 Supercars and the Abu Dhabi Tour cycle race. The circuit features sixteen corners, several straights, and unique elements like a marina, the Yas Hotel Abu Dhabi, and a pit lane exit that runs under the track. It has five grandstands and an FIA Grade 1 license.
