Indianapolis Motor Speedway Motorcycle Course From 2008 to 2015, the speedway hosted Grand Prix motorcycle racing for the first time since 1909. The course was modified to 16 turns, including a new "Snake Pit Complex." In 2019, the Speedway announced the return of motorcycle racing with the MotoAmerica Championship of Indianapolis as part of the Motorcycles on Meridian festival.
