Bowman Gray Stadium Bowman Gray Stadium in Winston-Salem, NC is NASCAR's longest-running weekly race track and a historic football venue. Built in 1937, it hosted its first NASCAR event in 1949. Nicknamed the "Madhouse" for its racing antics, it's home to WSSU Rams football and underwent a $9 million renovation in 2020-2022.
